Guidelines
Queensland Volvo & Saab Community
Owned and operated by Queensland Volvo & Saab Club Inc.
Welcome to the Queensland Volvo & Saab Community website. This site is here to support Queensland-based owners, drivers and fans of Volvo and Saab vehicles. By taking part, you’re joining a respectful, knowledgeable and passionate group. To keep things running smoothly, please follow these simple guidelines.
Respect others
Treat everyone with courtesy. Disagreements happen, but personal attacks, harassment, or discriminatory remarks will not be tolerated. Keep discussions friendly, constructive and on topic.
Stay on topic
Posts should relate to Volvos, Saabs, motoring, or club activities. Off-topic discussions are fine in designated areas, but please avoid spam or irrelevant content.
Use accurate information
Share information that’s true to the best of your knowledge. If you’re offering mechanical or safety advice, make sure it’s sound and based on real experience or reliable sources. The Club isn’t responsible for any damage or loss resulting from advice shared by members.
No commercial advertising
This site is for enthusiasts, not business promotion. Selling personal car parts or vehicles is fine within the appropriate sections, but commercial advertising or repeated self-promotion without committee approval will be removed.
Privacy and copyright
Respect others’ privacy and intellectual property. Don’t post private details, photos, or copyrighted material without permission.
Moderation
Moderators may edit, move or remove posts that breach these guidelines or disrupt the community. Repeat or serious breaches can lead to suspension or removal of membership access.
Legal compliance
All posts must comply with Australian law, including defamation, consumer law, and copyright regulations. Illegal content will be removed and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Club membership and representation
Participation on the site does not automatically make you a financial member of Queensland Volvo & Saab Club Inc. Official club business, events and decisions are managed by the elected committee. To become a financial member of the club, please visit QLDVolvoSaab.com.au
Have fun and share knowledge
This community exists because of members who love their cars and enjoy helping others. Share photos, stories, technical advice, and road-trip tales - we’re all here to keep the spirit of these classic marques alive in Queensland.
